How to Prepare for a Newborn Photoshoot
Service and pricesWhy Choose a Home Session
At home, your baby feels safe and relaxed — and so do you.
No rush, no stress of travel. I bring everything needed: outfits for baby and you, accessories and the patience every newborn shoot requires.
Best Time for the Session
The ideal window is between 5 and 14 days after birth.
Babies sleep deeply and are easier to pose naturally.
But don’t worry if your baby is older — I adapt the session to your child’s rhythm and personality.
How to Prepare Your Home and Baby
1. Warmth & Light: Keep the room cozy — around 24 °C. Natural window light is perfect.
2. Feeding: Feed your baby 15–20 minutes before the session for calmness.
3. Outfits: Neutral tones, simple textures, and soft fabrics create timeless photos.
4. Parents: Choose light, pastel clothing without logos or strong patterns.
During the Session
Your baby leads the rhythm. We pause for cuddles, feeding, or changing whenever needed.
My goal is not perfection — it’s connection. I’ll gently guide you through the poses, keeping everything natural and emotional.
Final Tips
- Don’t worry about your home’s look — I’ll find the best light and angles.
- Keep your schedule free; a session usually takes 1–2 hours.
- Be present. This is your time to simply enjoy your baby.
